Backseat Drivers Volume 52

Saturday's Nationwide race in Montreal marked the first time in the history of NASCAR that any series competed in the rain.  How do you feel about it: good, bad or indifferent?

Arianne:  NASCAR saved the day with this decision.  It almost made me forget about the mess at INDY the week before.  Hopefully rain tires will be used again in the future and they will become a part of future testing sessions so there is less guess work for race teams.

Kimmie:  It was incredible.  Hopefully NASCAR evaluates it positively because the racing was good and fans did not leave.  I believe Saturday was a major turning point for the sport.

Brianna:  I loved it.  "Rain or shine racing anytime," that's what I am talking about.  It puts an extra burden on everyone, but the fan.  Excitement and something new; that is always good for the sport.
